Diane, I hope you’re sitting down.
Leah here, and I have some news. I would like to officially announce that the following wonderful folks will have essays in our book!
Stacey Winklepleck
You may know Stacey from her role with the fantastic Knit Picks Independent Designer Program. Teresa and I also know her as a huge Twin Peaks fan and generally great person. Stacey has written about how watching Twin Peaks when she was in high school influenced her formative years and helped her find her people.
Amanda Miller
By day, Amanda is a badass crime scene investigator. By night, she runs the fabulous indie yarn dying business CSDye. Amanda writes about how watching Twin Peaks throughout her childhood shaped her as a person and inspired her to pursue her career path.
Lee Meredith
Lee is an amazing designer, artist and force behind Leethal Knits. She writes about taking a roadtrip with her husband from their home in Portland, Oregon to Washington State to see Twin Peaks filming locations. Read about her experience and use it as a guide for your journey to the glorious American Pacific Northwest!
In addition to getting the essays in place, we’re getting closer on the massive project that is our layout. We’ve got Meaghan from Unapologetic Knitter doing our schematics and diagrams (see her illustration for Teresa’s gorgeous Rose embroidery design below) and Teresa is doing the charts! I am grateful to have this help with getting everything together. It is looking really beautiful.
As usual, you can reach me by email or ravelry with questions.
